Welcome To Artof-Living

I invite you to explore with me how to live purposefully according to God’s will and strive to incorporate biblical living into our everyday lives in this dynamic world of today.

What is an art? It is to use someone’s expertise creatively and imagination to produce a product. Like a painting, music, dance, writing, needlework, cooking or baking. The product to be enjoyed by our 5 senses, to see, hear, smell, touch and taste. Here we look at the art of living a purposeful life striving to be more Christ like. Using our imagination positively to see and explore the spiritual world.

When we look at God’s word and try to understand it, it requires from us to do something. We cannot merely read or hear the Bible and put it aside for the day. Per James 1:22 we suppose to act on it, otherwise we deceive ourselves. We are to "recieve with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save" our souls (James 1:21).

What is our purpose?

God created us for a reason; to live according to HIS will. I found at least two main actions to live according to His will.

To spread the Word. Our purpose is to carry His word to the ends of the earth. Clear instruction from the Bible is in Mathew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them… teaching them…”. In Mark 16:15” Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. And in Acts 1:8 Jesus said to His disciples they will be witnesses to Him to the “ends of the earth”.
We are to become more like Christ by renewing our mind; “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Phill 2:5). Romans 12:2 states, “And to not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” and in Romans 8:29 “… predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son”.

To align with God’s purpose. If it is God’s will, to spread the gospel near and as far as I can take it around the globe. Transforming lives even if it is one at a time. To live more Christ like and to inspire others to do the same.

A Symbol of Our Life Journey

The Artof-Living logo is a symbol of our life journey on earth. We all start out on this earth in an earthly vessel, namely our body perfectly equipped by God for our journey of life. We came into this world as a baby and as we grow up and explore the world we live in, we walk our life path on this earth. Will we dedicate our life to Him who gave His life to us on the cross?
